Mazda MX5 Mark 1
This car was an impulse buy after watching the BRSCC MX5 championships at Cadwell Park in the summer.
Work ongoing to get this car race ready for the 2025 season.
Work completed so far;
- Engine, gear box and both front and rear sub frames have been removed for inspection and repairs.
- Front sub frame and both top and bottom suspension wishbones have been sandblasted, inspected and painted and reassembled with brand new poly bushes.
- New top and bottom ball joints fitted.
- New wheel bearings fitted.
- New EBC brake discs fitted.
- New Carbotech brake pads fitted.
- New polyurethane sterring rack bushes fitted.
- New anti roll bar poly bushes fitted.
- Replaced clutch slave cylinder.
- Fitted upgraded stainless steel hose from HEL supplied by Bofi Racing.
MG Midget
Introducing the latest addition to the Race and Retro collection: a 1966 MG Midget 1275cc. Already in great shape, it just needs a few minor touches to bring it up to top condition. It will be available for purchase in the summer of 2025.

Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabriolet
By far the biggest project in the workshop so far, bought for our collective nostalgia for all things 1990's.
So far we have sourced a new soft top and also authentic seats to replace the torn fabric on the original seats.
Despite its rugged appearance, the shell is in surprisingly good shape, aside from a few areas needing rust removal and re-metaling. Our goal is to restore it to its original condition, with a few tweaks to enhance driveability.
This will be a long project but we can't wait to see it restored to its former glory and hear the sound of a cassette in the stereo once again.
